About me.

I am 45 years old, working as a document help maker for industrial software (in Russian and in English) and translator in St Petersburg, Russia.

I have three daughters, two of them play chess.

I have been back to chess in 2000 after a 20-year break. Now I have got a Candidate Master and I am taking part in rated tournaments. Chess engines help me to train my chess skills.

Chess is now my favorite hobby that even put away my previous hobby - programming in assembler.

  • 2003, February 8. I have started to write my own chess engine in assembler (using MASM32). It's name is NibbleChess (by my board representation with nibbles). Its current version is 0.0.6g. Here is the log file of my work on NibbleChess.
